Cottage on the Hudson minutes to Saratoga Springs

This tiny cottage gives you the experience of modern living in a picturesque location! The historical structure was saved and completely renovated with upcycled materials and an eye to the vistas outside. Skip the hustle and bustle, the home is just a short commute to Saratoga Springs (15 min), Glens Falls (25 min), or Lake George (40 min).

Neighborhood description.
The cottage is in a bucolic setting, yet minutes from bustling downtown Saratoga Springs or a short drive to Lake George, NY. We are located in the gateway to the Adirondack Mountains of New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont. The historic Saratoga Monument and park is a just a short drive down the road providing an excellent adventure back in time. Access to the nearby waterways is available so bring your kayak, canoe, or paddle board! The road we live on is well known as a cycling destination for it's curves and scenery.

Getting around.
This unique location provides an opportunity to enjoy the Hudson River valley at it's finest. You must have a car as public transportation is not available (however, the home is a short Uber trip from the Saratoga Springs train or bus station).

The space.
The guest home is less than 900 square feet and was carefully designed to include everything you need and nothing you don't. The structure has three levels all connected by a black metal spiral staircase and a gorgeous window looking out toward the neighboring horse farm. The main level is the kitchen that includes a large island and stools as well as a washer and dryer. The basement level is the bedroom with a queen size bed and a big (streaming only) television on the wall, bathroom, and closet with a walk out door to a patio. The upper level loft has a queen size pull out couch and a desk with office chair. For your personal belongings the cottage provides plenty of drawers, shelves, and a closet for all of your things.
Please note, due to the size of our home we have a strict no animals policy.

Amenities.
As this space is set up for short-term rentals during the summer, it includes MORE than one may expect making your transition to the area easy. We can easily remove any items that you would prefer not to have during a long-term stay within reason.
Air conditioning and a smart heating system fully controlled by you, on-demand hot water system, wifi, washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator including freezer, electric oven, gas cooktop, microwave, coffee machine (drip and Keurig), cooking basics, dishes, silverware, bakeware, mixing bowls, cookie sheet, hot water kettle, measuring cups and spoons, board games, closet, hangers, clothing drawers under the bed, bed linens, towels, washcloths, extra pillows and blankets, room darkening shades, window privacy lens, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, some cleaning products, hair dryer, small vacuum, clothing iron, ironing board, 2 personal flotation devices for use on the river, rolling cooler, two lawn chairs, two umbrellas, and access to a shared dock in the Hudson River a short walk down the hill.
